Help Democrats Take Back The House!
Dear Friends,
As many of you know, I’m originally from Maryland, where we measure everything in horse-racing terms. With just over two weeks until the most important election of our lifetime, we’ve rounded the final turn and are in the home stretch. Now we must finish strong and bring victory home.
The American people are hurting, and MAGA Republicans have only made it worse. Right now, voters are deciding whether this election matters to their lives — and whether to show up. Democrats know the election is won at the kitchen table. Across the country, we're talking about lowering the cost of living and making care affordable in every form: healthcare, childcare and paid family and medical leave. We’re also talking about the cost of corruption and how a Democratic majority, led by Speaker Hakeem Jeffries, will end this reign of terror by providing oversight and accountability to an Administration run amok.
This week, I was thrilled to be in Alabama with Congresswoman Terri Sewell and her constituents in the cradle of the American Civil Rights Movement. There, in the spirit of Alabama’s favorite son, our hero John Lewis, we recommitted ourselves to defending every voter’s rights and participating fully in our Democracy to win this election. And when we win the House and elect Hakeem Jeffries Speaker, Democrats will save our healthcare, restore patient protections, guarantee Equal Pay for Equal Work and pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Act to secure the sacred right to vote for all Americans.

We know our power comes from organizing, speaking out, protecting our rights, supporting one another in beloved community and, most importantly right now, voting. VOTE EARLY — today if you can! Then make it your mission to call, text and remind everyone you know to make a plan and VOTE NOW. Bring three or more friends to the polls with you so your vote multiplies, and together we can make our margin of victory too big to rig. We need to win three seats, but I want thirty or more — because every seat we win is a win for the American people.

Every door knocked, every call made and every conversation with a voter about kitchen-table issues like the cost of living, healthcare costs and corruption matters. This weekend, No Kings: Vote Early is a national day of action to ensure every eligible voter has a plan to vote early, knows their options and is ready to be heard at the ballot box. We have fought hard against this President’s abuses, and now it’s time to deliver at the ballot box. With the finish line in sight, let us be guided by our three Nos: no wasted time, no underutilized resources (time, energy or money) and no regrets. If we live by them, we will secure a great victory for our country, For The People and For The Children.
