In two decades of public service, Connie delivered for San Francisco again and again — protecting access to healthcare, investing in public education and fighting for good-paying jobs that keep families in the city they love.
As a Supervisor and Chair of the Budget Committees, Connie has been a voice for working families — for the people, not the powerful. She understands that budgets are statements of values and has fought tirelessly to rebuild our middle class, strengthen our safety net and protect our rights.
As an Asian American immigrant woman, Connie’s story reflects the American Dream and the hopes and courage of so many families who came to this country believing in opportunity, dignity and Democracy. At a time when our fundamental freedoms and democratic values are under assault, we need a leader who will fight — forcefully and effectively — for San Francisco and for the future of our country.
