Help Democrats Take Back The House!

We Won’t Give Up on Democracy

Dear Friends,

Nearing America’s 250th birthday, it is not a matter for debate that our Founders did not want a king; that was the whole point of the American Revolution and the guiding principle of our Constitution. The separation of powers, including the power of the purse residing in the Congress, was essential to their vision. Sadly, the Republicans in Congress have essentially abolished the institution this term and have folded to the will of the Executive Branch – a betrayal of Article I and an insult to that vision from our Founders and the intelligence of the American people.

The genius of our American Democracy is that the power belongs to the people: free and fair elections, an independent judiciary, the separation of powers, the rule of law, due process, freedom of the press. The actions of this President are putting all of this at risk as he schemes to make it harder for Americans to vote, attacks birthright citizenship and attempts to intimidate the Judiciary. Seven months from the midterm elections, it’s clear that our Democracy is at stake – we will save our Democracy at the kitchen table.

Trump and Republicans know they can't gaslight the American people about their disastrous record after raising costs for families with senseless tariffs and ripping health care from millions — so they're trying to keep Americans from voting. More and more every day, people are seeing through Trump and Republicans’ failures and abuses and have had enough. This past weekend, millions of Americans turned out across the country, united in one voice against Trump and his Republican enablers in Congress — No Kings!

Democrats have to win this election; that is our mission. We don’t agonize, we organize! We have to make sure the elections are safe. And we have to tell the people what we will do when we win. Voters will turn out to elect a Democratic majority that will lower costs, fix what Republicans have broken in our health care system, fight against corruption and protect the electoral process ahead of the 2028 elections!
