Help Democrats Take Back The House!

Dear Friends,

When the “President” reached out to Texas Republicans, telling them he was “entitled” to 5 more House seats, he thought they would get away with it.  

But then California voters responded by overwhelmingly passing Prop 50.  The victorious YES campaign in Virginia is the latest example of voters reminding politicians that true power belongs to the people.

While our friends in Virginia were knocking on doors, our volunteers in California were on the phones. We made 451,824 calls to Virginia voters and with a margin of victory of 98,092 votes — we can see and feel the power of grassroots mobilization. 

Virginia suffered under Trump — jobs DOGED, health care ripped away, SNAP food aid taken from the mouths of hungry babies and clinics closed.   

But Virginia voters, led by an esteemed leader whom I am proud to call my friend — President Pro Tempore of the Virginia Senate, the Honorable L. Louise Lucas — knew their power, organized and brought home a powerful victory.  Virginia voters said YES to fair maps — which is YES for jobs, for health care, for food aid, for veterans, for a better future for our families AND for putting a check on this cruel and reckless Administration.  

Congratulations to the YES campaign for this great victory for Virginia and our democracy.  Democrats didn’t start this fight, but we are going to finish it.

Kicking Trump's extreme MAGA majorities out of power is our only way to protect our Constitution and restore power to the American people. 

Mike Johnson and his corrupt MAGA House majority have abolished their power by refusing to pass any War Powers resolution AND passing the archaic SAVE Act to block access to the ballot box and the Big Ugly Bill that stripped health care away from millions of Americans.  

When Democrats won control of the House in 2018 — we stopped part of Trump’s disastrous agenda.  When we win the House in November, we will STOP his abuses of power again.

Leader Jeffries and House Democrats want all Americans to live in a country that is healthy, safe and just. They deserve a healthy planet, a fair economy, and a society that is just in every way – respecting all human beings as equals.  We are fighting for justice in the workplace, justice in the environment, justice in our health care, justice in voting and human rights. Justice in every way.
