News From Nancy: We Can’t Afford Trump

Help Democrats Take Back The House!

Dear Friends,

Has it ever been clearer that Donald Trump doesn’t care for working families or the American people?   As he said in his own words: “Not even a little bit … I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation.” Instead — as usual — he is only thinking of himself. He is urging Republican legislatures across the South to roll back voting rights protections for Black voters and targeting Congressional Black Caucus members to rig the midterms, aided by a complicit Supreme Court. And just this week, the Vice President announced a freeze on 1.3 billion in Medicaid payments to California — targeting our state for political retribution.

Our founders believed in the goodness of the American people and fought to ensure Democracy thrived. That depends on participation — listening to each other and acting on our shared values. With less than six months until the midterms, Americans are fed up with Trump’s economy and the lack of leadership from his MAGA enablers in Congress. Disastrous policies — wars of choice, reckless tariffs, deep cuts to services and rising costs — all have happened under Republican control.

Friends, you have heard me say time and again: our diversity is our strength — our unity is our power. Democrats are more united than ever against the Republican assaults on everything that we value as Americans. With Leader Jeffries’ leadership and moral clarity, we will protect the election, flip the House, hold this Administration accountable and renew our commitment to working families, our values, and our Democracy.

We have our patriotic duty to give MAGA Republicans and the President some Good Trouble — protecting the right to vote for everyone, building the future we deserve and making life better for all.

Thank you so much for what you are doing, what you have done and what you will do — to ensure, to guarantee that we will win For The Children.
